UWIN recently welcomed four new affiliated faculty members:

  • Ione Fine in the Psychology department, focusing on encoding models for visual prostheses.
  • Sawyer Fuller in the Mechanical Engineering department, working on insect-sized robotics, flight control in insects and millimeter-scale fabrication.
  • David Gire in the Psychology department, researching neural circuit mechanisms of sensory processing and decision-making
  • Visvesh Sathe in the Electrical Engineering department, focusing on ultra-low power digital and mixed-signal design.
